Volkswagon motorsport India entered the Indian racing scenario back in 2010 as a part of the famed JK Tyre National Racing Championship with the first one-make series of touring cars - the Polo Cup. JK Tyre brought the internationally acclaimed Polo Cup to India in 2010 & ran it in the esteemed JK Tyre National Racing Championship. The Polo R Cup runs on a simple idea wherein anybody under the age of 24 years can race in the championship after making it through qualifying. The Cup has given immense opportunities to budding stars and has converted them into serious racers.
