The Euro JK is the premium category in the JK Tyre National Racing Championship. The category features the powerful FB02 cars which are powered by a 1.2-litre BMW bike engines which can hit top speeds of 240 kmph. The Series was earlier known as the JK Racing Asia Series. In 2011, JK Tyre acquired the Formula BMW series and rechristened it as the JK Racing Asia Series which later renamed as Euro JK. The series has produced several Formula One drivers and after dominating the tracks in Asia & Europe, JK Tyre in an effort to fill the void for the next Formula One driver and to give Indian race drivers a world class exposure, brought the series to India in 2013. Since then, the series has been a part of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship. The series also showcases a line-up of drivers from across the globe including Asia-Pacific and Europe. The series is run under the tutelage of one of the world's leading racing organizations, EURO INTERNATIONAL, who are racing giants and the only team to win all Formula BMW Championships in Europe, USA and Asia.
